Free Twitter (X) Tools

Instant, no-login tools for creators and developers, each powered by the same GetXAPI data API you can call in your own code.

Free tools, real API underneath

Every tool here runs on GetXAPI, a pay-per-call Twitter / X data API. The tools are free and need no login, but the same lookups (user profiles, followers, search) are available programmatically at $0.001 per call with no X developer account, so you can rebuild any of them inside your own product. Start with the API key page or browse the pricing.

Which tool answers which question

Twitter ID FinderWhat is this account's permanent numeric ID?A handle, or an ID to reverse

Verified September 13, 2026. The official route to this data is an X developer account, described in X's own API overview; the tools on this page need none of it. X also documents that it will exclude posts from search results, trends and recommendations, which is the behaviour the shadowban checker tests for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Every tool on this page runs without a login, a signup or a card. Each one is rate limited per visitor so it stays free for everyone, and results are cached for a few minutes. If you need more than occasional lookups, the same data is available programmatically at $0.001 per call.

No, and neither does any other tool. A protected account's posts are not public, so they are not in any index or API for someone who does not follow that account. Every tool here reads public data only.

Yes. Each tool is a thin wrapper over one or two GetXAPI endpoints, so anything you see here you can call yourself and get back as JSON, paginated with a cursor.

No. The tools call GetXAPI, which is a third-party data API, so there is no X developer application, no approval wait and no OAuth flow. That applies to the API too: a key is issued at signup with $0.10 in free credit.

Use the viewer to read a profile or search without logging in, the thread reader to unroll a whole thread from one post link, the ID finder to convert a handle to its permanent numeric ID, the shadowban checker to test whether an account is being filtered out of search, the fake follower checker to estimate what share of an account's followers look automated, and the username checker to see whether a handle is taken.
