What is GetXAPI?
GetXAPI is a pay-per-call REST API for Twitter/X data. Developers use it to fetch tweets, profiles, followers, search results and trends, and to post, reply and send DMs, without applying for an X developer account. A standard call costs $0.001, which is about $0.05 per 1,000 tweets, and there is no subscription requirement.
Why GetXAPI exists
GetXAPI started with a bill. Its founder needed Twitter data at scale for a side project and priced it on the official API. The monthly minimum was more than the project would ever earn. The data was worth having. The pricing model was the problem: a large fixed fee before the first request, an approval queue, and a monthly cap on top.
The alternatives at the time were cheaper but still priced for companies, not for a developer testing an idea. So the goal became simple to state: make Twitter/X data something you can pay for one call at a time, with a key you get in under a minute, and a price low enough that an experiment costs cents.
That is still the whole product. GetXAPI is The Cheapest Twitter API, with full Twitter/X API access across 73 endpoints, most of which respond in under 2 seconds.

How we operate
A small API business earns trust by being checkable. These are the things we keep public so you do not have to take our word for them:
- Prices. Every endpoint price is listed on the pricing page. No "contact sales" tier hides the real number.
- Uptime. The status page shows measured availability, not a marketing figure.
- Releases. Every change is dated on the changelog.
- Reviews. Every testimonial on the reviews page links to the original public post. We do not write or buy reviews, and we publish no star ratings we were not given.
- Data handling. What we store and what we do not is written down in privacy and data handling.
- Code. The MCP server is open source on GitHub.
